As of today, a new help and request section has gone up detailing the required help that the team needs to progress. These mainly run in the form of Model and Concept artists. Full details are below: -

1. Opening Sequence
One, Two, or Three animators to create a three section sequence for the entire opening sequence the three sections are

A: Electric disturbance from the portal
B: Huge tear in the sky that fluctuates and acts and looks like a tear in space
C: Electrical Missile bolts with trailing wake.

Many references can be used for this, however it must be electrical orientated and look bright and powerful, especially the missile bolts. Also the missile bolts will be many, but duplicated.

Modification Brief :-
Basically the End Of Mankind, is going to be a horror / realistic mod, it will not try and chance the face of mapping or hl2, but give the player a kick arse ride of a journey. If you have been over to the site and read the background page, you will see that the beginning of the game will get straight into the adventure, with what will be one of the most challenging but amazing sequences ever! This mod has and is inspired by many sources as follows - Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Poke 646 and Half-life 2

Weapons And Characters And Models And Textures: -
At first weapons were not going to be changed, but after considerable thought, i wanted to bring a huge level of realism and "day to day" feel to the game, and thus, will try and bring some organic real world items to the fold, proof of this has already been posted, with the Hammer and a Nail-hun in the pipe line, however i want more things to come to the table, like a replacement for the grenade and other items anybody can come up with. Moving on to characters, this will be an impressive amount, spanning civilians, police and medical units, to once again give a clear and real feel to the game, i am also planning to have abandoned Ambulance and Police units around the city sections and so forth, to get ammo and health, so that's it's not just lying around like in some mods. And that come to models also, their will be some extremely complicated model requests going up in now and in the near future, they will consist of Emergency Vehicles, MiniSub, Medical and Enforcement equipment, hospital and police utilities etc. As for textures, this is an odd thing for me to explain, because it will be directly influenced from some of the models and real life stuff, like, medical and police signs, but things like department stored and warehouses are fully up to the person, and can be designed ready to "fit" in with the size of its sign diameters when the world is being created.

Although i need any help possible, it will need to be at a level suitable to the mod, as this is a hugely realistic mod, the models, skins, and items, need to be top class and hugely in depth with detail. Team members can apply via email (mrksmt9@aol.com) or the forum posts here!!!

It goes without saying that this mod will only survive if the public know about it, any help that can be done to promote or affiliate this mod, would be so helpful, as would team promoting. We already have massive support from Mod Database, Half-Life 2 HQ, The Mod Resource, Frontline Message Board, and HalfLife files.

Promoting the mod, can be on and off the net, as i said any help that can be done must be done
