Just weeks after Hurricane Charley devastated parts of the state, another Category 4 hurricane is bearing down on Florida.

The latest reading of Frances has the big hurricane within 35 miles of the Bahamas. It's moving west-northwest at about 13 mph. The Bahamas' prime minister is warning that Frances is heading his way and could be the worst in history to strike the chain of 700 islands.

And in Florida, nearly half-a million people have been ordered to get out of the storm's path. Frances could hit there Friday and a state of emergency has already been declared.
