Just an update to let everyone know we will be moving into our brand new radio studios in about 10 days to resume our syndicated radio show. After 2 major hurricanes within a month, we have survived!! We got a few surprises for the upcoming shows. The new studios will have all new equipment which will also contain a video production studio for our live video feeds.

Seth Walton is alive and well. An error in his site code allowed it to be hacked

It's my first news post on the new site, and I am proud to say that it features one of Sapien's enviroment concepts. Until now we have kept our concepts strictly private, but we have decided that we may release the odd one for your viewing pleasure.

It's Baaaaack!

Hey Everyone!

We Are back and ready to chew candy and Take Shiny Objects!

Lately there have been some up's and downs, mainly distractions of me looking at shiny objects and well certain pc magazines making a mess of what the project is about.

But We are doing our best to get what we can done and moving forward.

We have been working our tails off, comming up with some cool 3D models and characters for this Novel.

Unfortunatly there not textured yet - but mostly the images which are posted have been 3d modeled already or are being tweaked to look 100% better.

Thanks For all Your Support

I am proud to announce the Grand Opening of the DoD Plugins Community. This community is dedicated to creating Real Working plugins for admins and fun seekers alike. It will allow users to interact directly and quickly with the developers of DoD Plugins, thus allowing the Developers to quickly fix bugs and get Quality DoD Plugins out to the Community. At the moment we have only a few developers and testers but we are always interested in new blood. I also hope to see other Communities start up to help in the development of Mod Specific plugins. So without further aido, here is the link:

So please come join us, as a Community we can make DoD Better for All!
Cheers!

Sorry guys, if you're reading this, I'm amazed. Something is wrong with our server. Don't ask what, I have no idea, but hopefully The Administrator will make things better again.

I have been getting emails inquiring of the status of WOTAMOD. WOTA is still in progress. A lot of our talent have been busy lately, and as always, we could always use more skinners and people who can UV map very well.

On account of the recent server difficulties, I could understand why people would think this project has taken a turn for the worse. Quite the obvious is true. We now have a second coder who is fluent in C++ and PHP. Who knows, maybe he can make a better site than this one :P

WOTA is still going strong, theres a lot going on behind the scenes. I'm in the process of working out the stats system so when it comes time to code, we're ready. I'll report any significant progress as soon as possible (server willing)

Keep the faith, and thanks for all of your support!

Updates are lacking, but work still toots along. RPB's done some rather awesome skins, as has fast become his norm. Check out the skins for the Hawk and Cutter Cannon in this forum thread, and head on over to the media page to check out the Lobo Cutter skin.

Thanks for the hundreds of people who have tried "The Trenches"! We're very exciting about continuing the project and we shall be working throughout the month to release a fix-it patch as soon as possible. Please be patient until this patch is released.

We've already gained a great deal of attention. Mod Database has awarded us their Mod Dedication award and our interview at BlueWolf72 is up here. There are also rumors of the possibility of TT's inclusion in the Mod section of PC Gamer magazine, though this has not been confirmed.

I've been getting a few inquiries about mapping software, how to map for us, the required files, ect. I am proud to announce the start of the official Trenches mapping resource center. Members of the staff (such as head mapper the_Leprechaun and texture artists Garvey and Myristate) are assisting the prominent members of our mapping community in their endeavors. So go check it out! Information can be found here.

Thanks for everyone's support thusfar!

I have gotten the melee weapon code done. It does 5 traces in a arc over a period of time. If you move your view (and in-turn, the weapon), the weapon will do more or less damage accordingly. So if you move your blade fast it will do a lot more damage than it would if you did nothing. The traces are also timed, so you can have slower and more powerful weapons or quick and less powerful weapons.

Today is sunday, and it happens to be thanksgiving for canadians, so we bring you more media like every other sunday that isn't thanksgiving. Anyways, this week I will be releasing some map concepts (*hears excited cries*) and a new model from one of our long lost members who decided to come back (because we kick so much ass). So... on with the media. We have 3 map concepts by Jay-B of NGM ship interiors, these include hallways, doors and a shot of the lower levels of a ship. We also have 3 shots of the UTF Hackbox, modelled and skinned by Sveppe, who left the team for a little while, but decided to come back and brought some kick ass art with him.

That's it for this weekend, and for all those canadians out there: Happy Thanksgiving (woohoo! long weekend). Until next week, when we should be releasing some sweet pics of the UTF Grenade Launcher by Dete. Over and out.
