I have gotten the melee weapon code done. It does 5 traces in a arc over a period of time. If you move your view (and in-turn, the weapon), the weapon will do more or less damage accordingly. So if you move your blade fast it will do a lot more damage than it would if you did nothing. The traces are also timed, so you can have slower and more powerful weapons or quick and less powerful weapons.
