Darktooth has been cranking away at Captain Ginyu's animations for the past couple weeks and the results have been very pleasing. There is one animation I couldn't pass up sharing with you guys, Captain Ginyu's deep idle animation. I think the Fat Buu dance has just been topped!

The game, in a nutshell is a mix between "Smash T.V", "UT2k4's Invasion mode" and good ol' fashioned "Half Life". The players will be held up in a big fortified bunker (or anything really, just has to look like its been outfitted to WORK as a bunker!!! (ie city building with sandbags around it and that pokey wire stuff, etc etc), while waves of monsters (different depending on what wave it is, the waves will also be announced, ie "wave one", "wave two" etc)

Hey everyone long time no see. Well we have been working hard here at your favorite Star Wars mod. This month we have been picked by ubisoft to be the featured mod of the month for Far Cry. There you will find an interview that djnogg from ubisoft did with Arbron, Cheesesteakjim, and I. You can find a clip of what was talked about here.
How many maps are you planning on including with your mod? What special features, if any, will these include?

Timmay: Wow, how many maps? That, we can't really say. Official maps are going to be as many as I can pump out of my mappers :. Right now we have seven maps in development. The one that is really deep in development is the Hoth map. It is set right after ep. VI. (See Screen Shouts). The rebels are trying to take back control of the ice planet. It will be a 3 map set co-op. For the un-official maps, we plan on making the texture's available to any community mapper that wants to test their hand out in the Star Wars universe.

Cheesesteakjim: To my knowledge, we're going to include as many (good) maps as we can crank out. I know that we will have a Hoth map, with all sorts of different gameplay. We will also have lightsaber maps starring Sith vs. Jedi.
Arbron: The exact number of maps is hard to predict. We have no idea how big our single player game will be at the moment, and the number of maps in multi-player will depend on how many members of the community chip in and make maps. I am personally planning three maps at the moment, and I know Laz is working on one. Beyond that I cannot say.

You will also see a ton of new media that we released with this feature. The AT-AT skinned, a dirty version of the x-wing, and a building you will find on Tatooine.

Here is our first public shot of a Player model. It is from the feared bounty hunter Aura Sing. You will see the high and low poly version of this.

Here you will find the Kuat Drive Yards Turbo Laser, you will be able to see this in our Multiplayer map of Hoth. Below that you can find the AT-TE. Any fans from ep. II will know this model well.

I am sure many of you really are looking forward to seeing what we can do in sandbox, so we wanted to give you a bit of a treat. You can see the Hoth Fly by video that we made for the ubisoft feature. Its one of our many labors of loves, so I hope you enjoy it. But the only way to view it is to go to our Homepage.

I am sure some of you are wondering about our contest we have been telling you all about. Within this week we will give you full details. We are just trying to get everything down correctly, so there are no questions in the end. Stay tuned for that announcement soon.

Story development continues to strive forward and the modification grows in depth. The starting sequence has been posted on our main site and as the introduction to this mod on our main mod database page.

Currently the team is working towards a full story blitz by the end of the month, in line with a hopeful HL2 release, also major request have gone up on the main site and End Of Mankind promises to become a mod I'm sure you will remember and be eager to dive in to.

From city decimation to tactical assaults like nothing ever seen on screen before to major sprawling city scapes, this will promise and deliver the most amazing modification... Ever
